Terry Silver is , for the lack of a better term, Frankenstein's monster. Kreese , like Victor Frankenstein, didn't realise what it was that he was creating until it was too late. Hell, you could argue that Silver is almost a *tragic* villain. Yes he used to be a freaking lunatic. But he calmed the hell down over the years and realised how unbelievably insane it was for him and Kreese to torture a teenager both phisically and psychologically over winning a freaking karate tournament. The old Silver was dead or at least *buried* But Kreese, being the callous manipulator he is, poked and prodded Terry. Slowly peeling back the layers of self-control , despite his attempts to keep a cool head and keep things peaceful, until he brought the monster back to life. A monster that eventually turned on him for feeling abandoned and used.
